About Me

I’m Samuel Burgazzi, a UX designer with an international background and a curiosity-driven approach to human-centered design.

Having grown up across Venezuela, Italy, and the United States, I bring a multicultural perspective to how I understand users, systems, and experiences.

My Story

My path into design began in science.

I studied astronomy at the University of Bologna, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, coding, and data visualization. Working with complex systems and data taught me how to break down problems and identify patterns.

Over time, I became more interested in how people interact with systems; not just how they function, but how they are experienced. That curiosity led me to transition into UX design.

Design Approach

My work sits at the intersection of research and creativity.

I’m driven by curiosity and focus on understanding how users think, behave, and interact with systems. I enjoy translating complex ideas into experiences that feel clear, intuitive, and meaningful.

I believe design has the power to and should:

  • clarify complexity

  • support decision-making

  • create systems that feel natural and human

This philosophy reflects my ongoing pursuit of instrumentality.

Personal Life

Outside of design, I spend a lot of time playing video games, cooking, and keeping up with films which I regularly rate and review. I enjoy things that are interactive or narrative-driven, whether that’s exploring game worlds or analyzing how a story is delivered.

I also like running outdoors as a way to exercise and step away from screens. It gives me space to think and reflect.
